Alton Bay Christian Conference Center Alton Bay, NH This weekend will provide generous times for Praise and Worship and time to wait on the Lord and "soak" in the Spirit both corporately and individually. We will also have brief teachings and prayer teams to assist our entering into the Presence of God. As we enter into God's Presence and wait upon Him in surrender, we will not remain the same! "Wiping the Tears: Recovery From Abuse" November 7-8, 2008 Triumphant Life Church 102 Randolph Road Worcester, MA www.trilifechurch.com Safe Harbor Ministries and Triumphant Life Church will be co-sponsoring this weekend focused on healing and recovery from sexual abuse and domestic violence. This event will be open to women who want information and/or ministry regarding healing and recovery from past or present abuse and also to area church leaders and pastors who want to learn how to create a safe and supportive environment in their church for women to disclose and heal from their abuse. There will be two meetings for women only, Friday evening at 7:00 pm and Saturday morning at 9:00 am. Christine will speak on the topics of sexual abuse and domestic violence, including sharing her own story of recovery from childhood sexual abuse and a sexual assault as a young adult. There will be a workshop for church leaders and pastors Saturday afternoon at 1:00 pm. This workshop will be a practical workshop to equip church leaders and pastors to support survivors of abuse and make their churches “sanctuaries” of healing.
